Purpose:
To lead, disciple and equip students in grades 6-12 through Christ-centered relationships, biblical teaching and meaningful programs, while guiding and supporting adult and student leaders in the work of youth ministry.
Professional Qualifications:
+ Undergraduate degree required, preference for a post-graduate youth ministry degree or Christian Education degree.
+ Experience leading youth ministry in a church or similar setting.
+ A personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear calling to youth ministry.
+ Strong knowledge of the Bible and the tenets of the Christian faith: ability to teach Biblical truths effectively.
+ Energetic, creative, and compassionate spirit with strong leadership and relational skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Provide spiritual leadership and oversight for the Middle and High School Ministry team.
+ Plan and lead weekly programs including Sunday morning and Sunday night as well as retreats, mission trips, Bible studies, small groups, fellowship events, outreach events, fundraisers and special events that engage youth and encourage spiritual growth.
+ Communicate clearly and effectively with youth, parents, staff and the congregations through speaking, teaching and promotional materials (including calendars, website and other media)
+ Build intentional relationships with students in the church and in the community, fostering a welcoming environment for spiritual development.
+ Develop and mentor student leaders who reflect Christ in their schools, homes, families, and communities.
+ Equip and supervise adult leaders and interns, including training, support, and background check per church policy.
+ Offer pastoral care, including counseling students and families as appropriate and making referrals when needed.
+ Collaborate with church staff and ministry teams to support the broader mission of Saxe Gotha.
+ Uphold professional and spiritual standards in all areas of leadership, communication and confidentiality.
+ Speak and deliver messages and presentations to parents, youth and congregation.
+ Pray for our youth and Christ’s Church.
+ Visit and call student members and adult leaders who are ill or hospitalized.
+ Interact and be a leader present at ministry events and church-wide functions
+ Plan and lead monthly leadership training meetings, attend related ministry meetings and more often if scheduled and generate monthly reports.
+ Develop strategy and plans in conjunction with related ministry team.
+ Work with the Youth Ministry team to recruit, train, and supervise ministry interns.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Expectations:
+ Adhere and subscribe to, as well as be willing to teach the Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians’ (ECO) Essential Tenets.
+ Maintain a prayerful and Christ-centered approach to ministry.
+ Fulfill approximately 40 hours or more per week, including evening and weekend commitments.
+ Attend staff meetings, maintain office hours and submit regular ministry updates.
+ Follow all church policies, including the “Youth First” policy and confidentiality protocols.
+ Model servant leadership and Christlike charter in all ministry relationships and interactions.
+ Serves as a team player and exhibits professional behavior including appropriate dress which is business casual most days.

Job Overview Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. The Account Clerk is responsible for performing routine accounting and clerical tasks to support the financial operations of the church. Duties include processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the weekly offering, accounts payable/receivable, online giving documentation One Church, Easy Tithes, uploading documents to the ACS portal and other financial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare, process, and reconcile invoices, payments, ach payments, and expense reports.
· Maintain and update accounting records, files, and ledgers.
· Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
· Input financial data into ACS / Real accounting software or databases.
· Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
· Reconcile vendor accounts.
· Process employee reimbursements and petty cash requests.
· Answer vendor and customer inquiries related to billing and payments.
· Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, scanning of financial documents, monthly credit card reconciliation.
· Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

· Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high- pressure environment.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
· 1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
· Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software (e.g., ACS Technologies) is an advantage.
· Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Good organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Working Conditions:
· Office-based work environment.

Purpose:
The Audio Visual and Lighting (AVL) Technician supports the church’s mission by helping operate and maintain audio, video, and lighting systems for live worship services and events. This role works under the supervision of the Audio Visual and Lighting (AVL) Director / Director of Music and Worship Arts and works closely with the worship team, production volunteers, and pastoral staff to ensure high-quality audio, visual, and lighting experiences that enhance worship and engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the setup, operation, and teardown of audio, visual, and lighting equipment for live worship services, rehearsals, and special events.
2. Support live audio mixing, monitor, and speaker adjustments.
3. Assist with performing sound checks and ensuring proper microphone placement and levels for speakers, musicians, and vocalists.
4. Operate or support media playback and lyric projection using ProPresenter or similar software.
5. Support recording and livestreaming efforts, including camera operation and switching if necessary.
6. Assist with lighting programming and operation for live services to create an immersive worship environment.
7. Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently before and during services.
8. Train, schedule, and support AVL volunteer team members.
9. Maintain AVL equipment, cables, and spaces in clean and functional condition.
10. Assist with funeral services and weddings if needed and available. Additional compensation will be given for participation in these services
11. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the AVL Director.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience and basic understanding of audio, visual, and lighting systems, preferably in a live worship environment.
2. Familiarity with worship technology tools and equipment (digital mixing consoles, ProPresenter, livestream platforms, lighting software and consoles, projection systems, etc.)
3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
4. Ability to stand, stoop, lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs).
5. Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
6. Availability to work Sundays, evenings, holidays, and special events.
7. A heart for ministry and alignment with the Essential Tenets of ECO (Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians) and Saxe Gotha’s Vision and Mission Statement

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Degree or certification in audio engineering, media production, or a related field.
2. Familiarity with Midas and Yamaha digital mixing boards, ProPresenter and Planning Center software, and DMX lighting control systems.
3. Experience training and leading technical volunteers.
4. Knowledge of network and IT systems as they relate to AVL equipment.
Terms of Employment:
1. Weekly hours – averaging 15-20 hours per week, actual time per week may vary depending on church calendar and seasonal liturgical events.
2. Sunday morning from 8:00am – 12:30pm and 2:30 – 5:30pm (during school year).
3. Annual Salary – TBD based on experience
