Change for Sudan
Throughout the year, our children and adults set aside pocket change and bills to support the many aspects of ministry in Sudan. We partner with the Presbyterian Church (USA) in this effort, as it has a longstanding relationship in ministering to the people of South Sudan. Your kind support in the past has provided humanitarian relief to those suffering from persecution in Sudan. We have provided Bibles, sleeping mats, cooking utensils and much more. Please give generously as your donations do positively change the lives of the Sudanese. When giving a check or cash, please be sure to let us know it's for Sudan ministries by sending it with a note or labeling your check "Sudan" in the memo line. Although the situation remains bleak, your support can be a positive light of hope in the lives of the Sudanese.

Africa Mission Efforts: Kisumu, Kenya
Our international mission endeavors on the continent of Africa focus primarily on the Republic of Kenya. In 2010, our church sent its first team of 11 members to preach, teach and serve in a local orphanage in Kisumu, Kenya, which is Northwest of Nairobi and is extremely poor. The team's mission was to spread God’s word by helping the children and adults of Kisumu.
While there the team visited with children at the Neema Children’s Home, held children’s Bible school, and visited both women's and men's prisons. These efforts provided clothes, Bibles and shoes for those in need, as well as medical care and many words of prayer. During this life-changing experience, each member of the team grew to know the Lord in a much deeper way.
Since that first trip our church has sent three other teams to Kisumu, Kenya during the summer months. On each trip the mission volunteers minister to the needs of the Kenyans – orphans, prisoners and adults - who desperately need our help. In past years our members’ support has purchased chicks and built a chicken coop, which provided nourishment and a source of income for Neema Children’s Home. We have built two wells paired with two church buildings in the Kisumu area so that local individuals can have clean drinking water and spiritual nourishment. We have trained local pastors so that they can, in turn, share God’s word with others. Our donations have provided clothing, food, teachers’ salaries, reading glasses and so much more for the people of Kenya.
