Prayer at Saxe Gotha
The Body of Christ here at Saxe Gotha believes strongly in the power of prayer. When we are thankful, we pray; before we eat, we give thanks in prayer. It is safe to say that prayer is a part of everyday life here. A lot of times when we pray, we are asking for God's guidance, His healing power, or for Him to bless us or someone close to us. We also believe in the power of prayer in numbers. There are groups of trained volunteers who pray for weeks at a time over particular requests. Every Tuesday at our church staff meetings, prayer requests are also lifted up. Prayer is an extremely important part of Saxe Gotha Presbyterian.
You may email confidential prayer requests or call Saxe Gotha (359-7770, ext. 35) to leave a confidential message. Also, forms can be found around campus near our Prayer Boxes. Your requests will be kept confidential and prayed for only by staff and pastors.
The Public Prayer List, which is in each Sunday's bulletin, is generated from hospital lists, deployment notices, or when there has been a death in a member's family. This list can also be found in the This Week at Saxe Gotha Newsletter. If you would like to add someone to the Public Prayer List, please contact the church business office (359-7770). The person for whom you are asking for prayer must be approved and then will remain on the list for 3 consecutive weeks; after 3 weeks the person will be removed, unless we receive a second request for prayer. Note that friends of the church will not be published on the public prayer list, but our prayer team will pray for these friends who are in need of prayer.
You can remove a person's name from the public prayer list by calling Saxe Gotha's business office.
