Dear Church Family,
Many families today are in crisis mode. In the face of financial struggles, hectic schedules, and the general demands of family life, raising a strong family can feel tough and even next to impossible. We feel the strain in our household as we try to raise our three children. Because of that fact, I am so very excited about the upcoming “To Save a Life” campaign that our church is beginning! This Sunday night, in partnership with Outreach Ministries, we will show the motion picture,
We watched “To Save a Life” in the Light House auditorium a last Sunday and will begin our journey together through a 6-week sermon series on Sunday mornings, and the start of adult small groups dedicated to helping families grow stronger and stay together.
Our youth will also begin a special 7-week series during H2O where they will be learning how to allow Jesus to use them for His glory and reach out to others they come in contact with as they realize what a life-saving impact they can have. I hope and pray that you will choose to take part in what I strongly feel can be a huge benefit to you and your family. Whether you are single, married, divorced, widowed, or a child, this series has something to offer you because we are all a part of some type of extended family (even as a church family) and the lessons taught are applicable as such.
I'd like to offer a challenge to you that I offered to our youth at our H2O gathering last week: Will you pray for this series? And, will you ask God to place on your mind and heart someone who needs to journey along with you? This is a wonderful opportunity to invite a friend, co-worker, neighbor or family member to come to church. I pray that you will partner along with us as we ask God to move in our hearts, lives, and families to strengthen us for His glory.
Hope to see you here at church!
Blessings,
Dell Simpson
