Nailbenders: A group of men who work both on site and in the community to help with building projects. If you've seen the Saxe Gotha Welcome Center lately, or noticed the new signs aournd the church, or the room color changes on the second floor, you've seen some of their handywork. They also helped with the Light House cafe improvements for the opening last year...If you have a project that you are unable to handle yourself, you should get in touch with them through the church business office to see if they can assist you.
Community Service Day: Each month on the Second Saturday of the month, the Nailbenders and others meet at the Chick-fil-A near the church to get their marching orders for the day. If you would like to particpate, you can show up that Saturday, or contact Byron Sistare for more information.
PASSAGE: A ministry that was begun less than a year ago for fathers and sons. You can learn more about Passage here. You can also link to Lee Fogle's blog-site to get updates on the Passage homeless outreach in Finlay Park, Columbia .
