Welcome to Saxe Gotha...

Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church is a growing dynamic body of believers theologically conservative in the reformed tradition. We are a caring, growing and excited body of Christ. Friendliness and informality characterize this church to both members and visitors alike. Our vision is serving God by finding needs and filling them and building a Christian community. We are excited about our future and the future of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Officer Nominations Are Open Officer Nominations The church nominating committee has opened nominations for officers to replace the seven Elders and eight Deacons whose terms of service are expiring in December. More details on each office and information on the candidates' requirements are here. There will also be a hard copy via pew handouts beginning on Sunday, June 28th, and throughout the nominating period. Nominations will close on Monday, July 27^th. Anyone who is an active member, in good standing, of Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church, is eligible to make a nomination or to be nominated for either office. You may nominate yourself. A fun-filled week of musical activites such as Tone Chimes, Guitar, Creative Movement, Scrap Booking, Percussion Instruments and LOTS more WHEN? Family Rafting Trip July 31st - August 2nd This will be the 5th Annual Family Rafting trip for Saxe Gotha. You do not want to miss it! There will be two nights of camping at the Gatlinburg Jellystone RV Resort, www.greatsmokyjellystone.com, and one afternoon of whitewater rafting on the Pigeon River. All families of youth grades 6 – 12 are encouraged to join us. Camping: $50.00 for 2 people. Additional people are $5.00 each, not to exceed $65.00 per family. · Family of 3 = 50 + 5 = $55 · Family of 4 = 50 + 10 = $60 · Family of 5 or more = $65 · Rafting at Rapid Descent: $27/person *Children must be at least 8 years old and weigh at least 70 lbs to participate in rafting. All families are responsible for their own transportation and dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Breakfast for Saturday and Sunday and lunch Saturday will be provided by the youth ministry.
