Welcome to Saxe Gotha...

Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church is a growing dynamic body of believers theologically conservative in the reformed tradition. We are a caring, growing and excited body of Christ. Friendliness and informality characterize this church to both members and visitors alike. Our vision is serving God by finding needs and filling them and building a Christian community. We are excited about our future and the future of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Operation Shoe Box
Thanks to all who dedicated gifts to children this past Sunday! Still packing yours? All Shoe Boxes must be to the Church Office by this SATURDAY, Nov. 22nd!     More Info...
Operation Turkey is November 26 & 27.

Operation Turkey Update:  215 Turkeys Received to Date!  We only need 35 more to make our goal of 250 Turkeys!  BUT WE REALLY NEED TO MEET THAT GOAL!

Turkey Tips:   Turkey should be cooked, sliced, divided up into individual portions and put in zip-lock bags. This makes it easy for those who are making the plates.  If you would like to come help out, meet at the kitchen at 9:30 a.m.!

Monetary Donations to date are now around $2,000.00

We also need a few more folks who can volunteer for a few hours in the days leading up to Thanksgiving.  Specifically, we need 3-5 team members to provide the maps and routes for the volunteer drivers. If you have an interest, contact Craig Lemrow at 960-3572 or email him at cmlemrow@pbtcomm.net.

As always, there will be announcements regarding volunteers for the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving and Thursday morning volunteer opportunities in our weekly newsletter.  Our goal is to receive at least 250 roasted/fried/grilled (no smoked turkey please) turkeys by November 26th.

If you haven't been a part of this outreach opportunity, it's a great time for and your family to experience the true joy of serving those less fortunate than most of us!

Contact Erika Hall at missions@saxegotha.org or Craig Lemrow if you would like to help!
