We are thrilled to announce that our SGPC Fall Festival is back!  This year we’ll have a "Trunk or Treat" area, games, inflatables, tons of food and, of course, we ask children to wear their favorite Halloween costumes. It’s on Sunday, October 26, 2014, from 5:00-7:00 PM.  This will be a FREE event for our church family and anyone in the community! Mark your calendars now and plan to attend! There are multiple ways to serve as a volunteer for this event, too, so please check out the volunteer schedule to sign up. Contact Lee Ann or Lori with questions, and contact Stephanie Jones Fitts (803.315.0405) to sign up host a trunk or treat car. You won't want to miss this fun, fall Saxe Gotha event!

Russ Crabtree Visit: Oct. 26

Posted September 29, 2014 Starts October 8, 2014 Expires October 29, 2014
Pastor & Author to preach about finding hope through severe depression and suicidal thoughts.

J. Russell "Russ" Crabtree will visit and preach for all three services on Sunday, October 26th. Please know that he will discuss surviving suicide and the Lord's work in helping him to overcome depression and suicidal thoughts. Due to the mature subject of his sermon, parents are welcome to take their children ages 4 and up to SPLASH worship in the gym that day, if they feel the topic is too sensitive. Older elementary children are encouraged to stay for the sermon if parents feel it's appropriate, as depression and suicide is unfortunately sometimes a terrible reality in the teen years. Visit A Second Day website to learn more about Russ Crabtree and his book, A Second Day, which tells his story. Please invite friends and neighbors who might be interested and in need of hearing Russ Crabtree's story.
