Focus on: High School Ministry
Dear Saxe Gotha Church Family,
Well, summer is drawing to an end, and most of us are finally slowing down enough to take a breath. This summer has been busy for our youth, with a summer mission trip to Jamaica, family rafting trip, and the 9th grade mystery trip, just to name a few. All that we did this summer was a lot of fun and many of us grew in our relationship with the Lord during this time.
We are really looking forward to the other events that we have planned for the rest of this year. Some of those events include tailgating at football games, a family party, fall retreat,
just-for-fun events, and service projects. We are looking forward to the fellowship that we are going to have together, as well as the opportunity to serve the Lord as a group.
We also have many opportunities for discipleship and teaching through H2O on Wednesday nights, Sunday School classes, D-Teams (small groups), and just through experiencing life together.
We would like to thank our fellow church members for being so supportive and invested in our youth ministry. When a
child is baptized into our church, we all vow to play a role in bringing that child up in the Lord. Well, we thank you all for
your involvement in that part of the lives of our students.
May God’s grace and peace be yours in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Matthew Gunn,
Director of High School Ministries
